Buttercup Daisy

The Butter Daisy prefers a sunny, warm location with good air circulation. It needs regular watering, with the soil being consistently moist but well-drained.

An ideal soil is loose, sandy-loamy, and rather nutrient-poor to moderately fertile, with a slightly acidic to neutral pH of about 6.0 to 7.0. Waterlogging should be avoided, as it can quickly weaken the plant.

The plant does not produce edible fruits, but numerous small, yellow, daisy-like flowers. It usually reaches a height of about 20 to 50 cm and grows as a bushy, profusely flowering summer plant.
