Blue Eranthemum
(Eranthemum pulchellum)
The Blue Eranthemum prefers a semi-shady to sunny, warm and sheltered location. It is frost-sensitive and grows best in a tropical to subtropical climate.
The soil should be humus-rich, loose and well-draining. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal, and consistent moisture is preferred.
The plant grows as a shrub and usually reaches 1 to 2 meters in height. It is primarily known for its blue to violet flower spikes.
