Banana Black Tanee

The Black Tanee banana prefers a sunny to semi-shady, warm, and sheltered location. It is sensitive to frost and grows best in tropical to subtropical regions.

The soil should be rich in humus, nutrient-dense, and well-draining. A slightly acidic to neutral pH value between approximately 5.5 and 7.0 is ideal, and consistent moisture is required.

The plant usually reaches a height of 2 to 4 meters and grows quickly. Under good conditions, it produces its first fruits after about 1.5 to 2.5 years.
