Apricot

Apricots prefer a sunny, warm, and as sheltered a location as possible. They are particularly suitable for regions with hot summers and cool, but mild winters.

The soil should be well-drained, rather sandy-loamy, and rich in nutrients. A pH value between approximately 6.0 and 7.5 is ideal; waterlogging is not tolerated.

The tree usually reaches a height of 3 to 6 meters and grows relatively compactly. It typically bears its first fruits after 3 to 5 years.
